Computer Training – ICDL

PADEAP started ICT training in 1997 training 1,500 students both Ugandan nationals and refugees from different countries, such as Ethiopia, Eritrea, Congo, Rwanda, Somalia and Sudanese are being trained.

In 2010 - 159 students completed our training course based on the ICDL course

Course 1 - The course consists of the following modules:

5 days per week – 12 weeks

Module 1 - Basic Concepts of IT 
Module 2 - Using a Computer and Managing Files 
Module 3 - Word Processing 
Module 4 - Spreadsheets 
Module 5 - Database 
Module 6 - Presentation 
Module 7 - Information and Communication

Course 2 – The course consists of the following modules:

2 days per week – 8 weeks

  • Improving productivity using IT
  • IT User fundamentals
  • Using the Internet
  • Website software
  • Email Software

In 2011 we intend to register as a registered ICDL centre in Uganda offer fully accredited courses to refugees and Ugandan nationals. Many students are constantly from one country to another, this course will assist them wherever they decide to settle.

Session 1 – 9.00am – 11.00am
Session 2 – 11.30am – 1.30pm
Session 3 – 2.00pm – 4.00pm
